Craftsman Bathroom Updates Add Plenty of Light and Space

Our homeowners wanted brighter more functional bathrooms in their charming brick craftsman, but also wanted to retain the home’s character.

Working with limited square footage in the hallway bathroom, we installed a new vanity in the corner opening up the area. The original fiberglass shower and dividing wall made the space dark; lowering the shower wall allows natural light in. The new custom-tiled shower has a frameless glass surround and a sleek, modern style. The final design is refreshing and filled with light and won the Chrysalis Award for a Bathroom Remodel Under $50,000!

In the master bathroom we installed new floor tile and tile wainscot, a new vanity cabinet, sink, and faucet, a new toilet, and gave the walls a coat of paint.
