The Arts, Community, Partnerships, Gathering Spaces, Athletics: The building was originally built as a public school and commissioned to service in 1951.  Over the years it has served several purposes.  Today it is a vibrant gathering space and event venue hosting a diverse number of cultural events and entertainment. Franklin Center has two theaters, other attractive large spaces and a number of former classrooms.
