What is Dorothy’s House?
Dorothy’s House is a safe place for survivors of human trafficking, exploitation and prostitution1 to discover their healing journeys through the practice of life. Our customized programs are designed to provide complete support for all survivors, regardless of race or gender. If you are a survivor, we can help you find safety so you can create change in your life.
Dorothy’s House offers safe housing, access to basic needs, therapeutic services, and a wide range of resources to remove barriers survivors face and foster community engagement.
1In no way do we define victims of trafficking as prostitutes, but we use this terminology to reach as many of them as possible. Many do not self-identify as victims due to the manipulation involved in this crime, but we know that a very small percentage of sex workers actively choose this profession.
