Final Act Ensemble: Holiday Broadcast to the Troops 1943

Join the Final Act Ensemble (FAE) for old-time fun this holiday season.

Mystery! Comedy! Nostalgia! Travel back in time to the Golden Age of Radio for a special 1943 holiday broadcast to the troops. Match wits with Ellery Queen as he investigates murders on a circus train. Laugh with Fibber McGee and Molly when McGee paints Molly’s Christmas tree white. There’s O. Henry’s heartwarming The Gift of the Magi and a new wartime series from the home front. Throughout the evening there will be bantering announcers and a few songs to set your toes tapping.

FAE’s Holiday Show will be presented in the Kate Goldman Theatre.

Special Opportunity: Our Roosevelt Cultural District neighbors at Drake Garage are collecting Toys for Tots. You can bring a new, unwrapped toy to The Playhouse, and Drake Garage will give these to Toys for Tots. Toys for Tots provides toys to children in shelters, safe houses, and hospitals.
