Session 4 "Hip Hop Into Spring"

Music about Spring | Thursdays April 4th, 11th, 18th.

Children's Music Classes are held the first three Thursdays of each month at Music Man Square for children ages 1 through 2nd grade.

The classes focus on opportunities for children to experience music through playing instruments, singing, movement, stories and games.

The classes are taught by Deb Nielsen, a music educator and music therapist. Deb has her music education / music therapy degree from Wartburg College and is a private practice music therapist in the North Iowa area. She has 27 years' experience as a music teacher and music therapist working with early childhood, elementary and special needs children.

Joining Deb to teach is Jenni Kennicker a music educator and music therapist. Jenni is a 2022 graduate of Wartburg College with a degree in music education and therapy. Jenni teaches vocal music at Clear Lake Middle School and provides music therapy to the frail elderly in nursing homes and assisted livings across North Iowa.

Class Schedule

3:30 - 4:15 PM | Preschoolers and Parents | Ages 3,4 and 5 years (preKDG)

4:30 - 5:15 PM | Older 4's Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd Grade (parents optional)

5:30 - 6:15 PM | Preschoolers and Parents | ages 3,4,5 years (pre KDG)

6:30 - 7:00 PM 7:05 - 7:35 PM | Toddlers and Parents | Ages 1 and 2 years

Cost

The cost for each monthly session is $28 for preschoolers and elementary children. The cost for each monthly session is $23 for toddlers.     Payment is due at the first class of each session. Payment is cash, check payable to The Mason City Foundation or
