King's Day

About King's Day

In the Netherlands, King's Day, or Koningsdag, celebrates the birthday of King Willem-Alexander. The Dutch party all day long throughout the country, with flea markets, food and drink, boat rides in the canals, and a whole lot of fun. Of course, the most important thing is that everyone wears orange!

We are bringing the party to Pella with King's Day at the Pella Historical Village! Join us Saturday, April 27, as we celebrate the Dutch king.
